The Government organizes governance in counties. The municipalities are territorial administrative units, which have right to self-governance.”

To amend part in the page 17 “Strengths and opportunities” with the following sentence “The climate, soil and relief conditions of Lithuania are favorable for cultivation of forests. Through the planting of new forests will improve ecological condition of country and gradually increase employment”. To amend the part  “Weaknesses and threats” with sentence: ”Uncertain perspectives of paper industry development, not formulated support scheme for private land owner who is planting forests and do not elaborated the programme on use of recovering timber resources”;

Chapter 1.5. “Rural population“ talking about increase of rural population due to migration, it should be mentioned the reasons of migration. Whether these changes are because of migration of Lithuanian citizens or because of persons coming from abroad.
